ABOUT 

Soroptimist is a women’s non-profit organization, originally founded in 1921, whose focus is improving the lives of women and girls, locally and globally.

 

Today, about 120,000 members and supporters in 21 countries and territories contribute time and financial support to community-based and international projects. 

​

Our local Ogden, Utah, club was founded on May 27, 1939, and has carried on the Soroptimist tradition of helping women and girls improve their access to educational and professional training.

 

To this end, we offer awards and grants targeted at various age groups and life circumstances.

Soroptimist is a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.
