PROGRAMS & SERVICE PROJECTS
Ogden Street Cleaning
Soroptimist of Ogden has ‘adopted’ Park Avenue in downtown Ogden to maintain and keep clean and beautiful. At least twice per year, our members volunteer their time and energy to collect any garbage or debris on this one mile stretch of Park Avenue between Washington Blvd and Monroe Blvd. Our collective efforts to keep this area clean and beautiful are enjoyed by all throughout the year.

After Care Kits
for Women
As a collective effort, our members donate and assemble After Care Kits for donation to the Ogden YCC for distribution to women as they transition from emergency housing to self-sufficiency housing. These kits generally include a set of bath towels, soap, lotion, hand sanitizer, feminine hygiene products, razors, hair brush, comb, body wash, and similar personal care items. Our goal in distributing these kits is to help women transition into a new phase of independence.
Christmas Stockings for Kids
A holiday tradition for SI Ogden includes collecting goodies and assembling Christmas stockings for distribution at Ogden’s Lantern House for those children in the emergency shelter at Christmas time. Stockings include a stuffed animal, small games, toys, and treats. Our members love spreading joy through these stockings for children during the holiday season.
